DESCRIPTION <\/a> <\/h2>\n

The htonl<\/b>() function converts the unsigned integer hostlong<\/i> from host byte order to network byte order.<\/p>\n

The htons<\/b>() function converts the unsigned short integer hostshort<\/i> from host byte order to network byte order.<\/p>\n

The ntohl<\/b>() function converts the unsigned integer netlong<\/i> from network byte order to host byte order.<\/p>\n

The ntohs<\/b>() function converts the unsigned short integer netshort<\/i> from network byte order to host byte order.<\/p>\n

On the i386 the host byte order is Least Significant Byte first, whereas the network byte order, as used on the Internet, is Most Significant Byte first.<\/p>\n
