These functions calculate the inverse hyperbolic cosine of x<\/i>; that is the value whose hyperbolic cosine is x<\/i>.<\/p>\n

RETURN VALUE <\/a> <\/h2>\n

On success, these functions return the inverse hyperbolic cosine of x<\/i>.<\/p>\n

If x<\/i> is a NaN, a NaN is returned.<\/p>\n

If x<\/i> is +1, +0 is returned.<\/p>\n

If x<\/i> is positive infinity, positive infinity is returned.<\/p>\n

If x<\/i> is less than 1, a domain error occurs, and the functions return a NaN.<\/p>\n

Domain error: x<\/i> is less than 1<\/p>\n

errno<\/i> is set to EDOM<\/b>. An invalid floating-point exception (FE_INVALID<\/b>) is raised.<\/p>\n
