DESCRIPTION <\/a> <\/h2>\nThe fseeko<\/b>() and ftello<\/b>() functions are identical to fseek<\/b>(3) and ftell<\/b>(3) (see fseek<\/b>(3)), respectively, except that the offset<\/i> argument of fseeko<\/b>() and the return value of ftello<\/b>() is of type off_t<\/i> instead of long<\/i>.<\/p>\n
On some architectures, both off_t<\/i> and long<\/i> are 32-bit types, but defining _FILE_OFFSET_BITS<\/b> with the value 64 (before including any<\/i> header files) will turn off_t<\/i> into a 64-bit type.<\/p>\nRETURN VALUE <\/a> <\/h2>\nOn successful completion, fseeko<\/b>() returns 0, while ftello<\/b>() returns the current offset.
