DESCRIPTION <\/a> <\/h2>\n

The finite<\/b>(), finitef<\/b>(), and finitel<\/b>() functions return a nonzero value if x<\/i> is neither infinite nor a “not-a-number” (NaN) value, and 0 otherwise.<\/p>\n

The isnan<\/b>(), isnanf<\/b>(), and isnanl<\/b>() functions return a nonzero value if x<\/i> is a NaN value, and 0 otherwise.<\/p>\n

The isinf<\/b>(), isinff<\/b>(), and isinfl<\/b>() functions return 1 if x<\/i> is positive infinity, \u22121 if x<\/i> is negative infinity, and 0 otherwise.<\/p>\n

Note that these functions are obsolete. C99 defines macros isfinite<\/b>(), isinf<\/b>(), and isnan<\/b>() (for all types) replacing them. Further note that the C99 isinf<\/b>() has weaker guarantees on the return value. See fpclassify<\/b>(3).<\/p>\n
