DESCRIPTION <\/a> <\/h2>\n

The atof<\/b>() function converts the initial portion of the string pointed to by nptr<\/i> to double<\/i>. The behavior is the same as<\/p>\n

strtod(nptr, NULL);<\/p>\n

except that atof<\/b>() does not detect errors.<\/p>\n

RETURN VALUE <\/a> <\/h2>\n

The converted value.<\/p>\n
