DESCRIPTION <\/a> <\/h2>\n

A ttk::scale<\/b> widget is typically used to control the numeric value of a linked variable that varies uniformly over some range. A scale displays a slider<\/i> that can be moved along over a trough<\/i>, with the relative position of the slider over the trough indicating the value of the variable.<\/p>\n

Get the current value of the \u2212value<\/b> option, or the value corresponding to the coordinates x,y<\/i> if they are specified. X<\/i> and y<\/i> are pixel coordinates relative to the scale widget origin.<\/p>\n

Returns the name of the element at position x<\/i>, y<\/i>. See ttk::widget(n)<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Test the widget state; see ttk::widget(n)<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Set the value of the widget (i.e. the \u2212value<\/b> option) to value<\/i>. The value will be clipped to the range given by the \u2212from<\/b> and \u2212to<\/b> options. Note that setting the linked variable (i.e. the variable named in the \u2212variable<\/b> option) does not cause such clipping.<\/p>\n
