The times<\/i> utility shall write the accumulated user and system times for the shell and for all of its child processes, in the following POSIX locale format:<\/p>\n

<shell user seconds<\/i>>, <shell system minutes<\/i>>,
<shell system seconds<\/i>>, <children user minutes<\/i>>,

The four pairs of times shall correspond to the members of the <\/i> tms<\/b> structure (defined in the Base Definitions volume of POSIX.1-2017, Chapter 13<\/i>, Headers<\/i>) as returned by times<\/i>(): tms_utime<\/i>, tms_stime<\/i>, tms_cutime<\/i>, and tms_cstime<\/i>, respectively.<\/p>\n
