pthread_condattr_getclock, pthread_condattr_setclock \u2014 get and set the clock selection condition variable attribute<\/p>\n

DESCRIPTION <\/a> <\/h2>\n

The pthread_condattr_getclock<\/i>() function shall obtain the value of the clock<\/i> attribute from the attributes object referenced by attr<\/i>.<\/p>\n

The pthread_condattr_setclock<\/i>() function shall set the clock<\/i> attribute in an initialized attributes object referenced by attr<\/i>. If pthread_condattr_setclock<\/i>() is called with a clock_id<\/i> argument that refers to a CPU-time clock, the call shall fail.<\/p>\n

The clock<\/i> attribute is the clock ID of the clock that shall be used to measure the timeout service of pthread_cond_timedwait<\/i>(). The default value of the clock<\/i> attribute shall refer to the system clock.<\/p>\n

The behavior is undefined if the value specified by the attr<\/i> argument to pthread_condattr_getclock<\/i>() or pthread_condattr_setclock<\/i>() does not refer to an initialized condition variable attributes object.<\/p>\n

RETURN VALUE <\/a> <\/h2>\n

If successful, the pthread_condattr_getclock<\/i>() function shall return zero and store the value of the clock attribute of attr<\/i> into the object referenced by the clock_id<\/i> argument. Otherwise, an error number shall be returned to indicate the error.<\/p>\n

If successful, the pthread_condattr_setclock<\/i>() function shall return zero; otherwise, an error number shall be returned to indicate the error.<\/p>\n
