This manual page is part of the POSIX Programmer\u2019s Manual. The Linux implementation of this interface may differ (consult the corresponding Linux manual page for details of Linux behavior), or the interface may not be implemented on Linux.<\/p>\n

NAME <\/a> <\/h2>\n

sched_getscheduler \u2014 get scheduling policy (REALTIME<\/b>)<\/p>\n

SYNOPSIS <\/a> <\/h2>\n

int sched_getscheduler(pid_t pid<\/i>);<\/p>\n

DESCRIPTION <\/a> <\/h2>\n

The sched_getscheduler<\/i>() function shall return the scheduling policy of the process specified by pid<\/i>. If the value of pid<\/i> is negative, the behavior of the sched_getscheduler<\/i>() function is unspecified.<\/p>\n

The values that can be returned by sched_getscheduler<\/i>() are defined in the <\/i> header.<\/p>\n

If a process specified by pid<\/i> exists, and if the calling process has permission, the scheduling policy shall be returned for the process whose process ID is equal to pid<\/i>.<\/p>\n

If pid<\/i> is zero, the scheduling policy shall be returned for the calling process.<\/p>\n

RETURN VALUE <\/a> <\/h2>\n

Upon successful completion, the sched_getscheduler<\/i>() function shall return the scheduling policy of the specified process. If unsuccessful, the function shall return \u22121 and set errno<\/i> to indicate the error.<\/p>\n

ERRORS <\/a> <\/h2>\n

The sched_getscheduler<\/i>() function shall fail if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
