NAME <\/a> <\/h2>\n

pthread_attr_getstacksize, pthread_attr_setstacksize \u2014 get and set the stacksize attribute<\/p>\n

DESCRIPTION <\/a> <\/h2>\n

The pthread_attr_getstacksize<\/i>() and pthread_attr_setstacksize<\/i>() functions, respectively, shall get and set the thread creation stacksize<\/i> attribute in the attr<\/i> object.<\/p>\n

The stacksize<\/i> attribute shall define the minimum stack size (in bytes) allocated for the created threads stack.<\/p>\n

The behavior is undefined if the value specified by the attr<\/i> argument to pthread_attr_getstacksize<\/i>() or pthread_attr_setstacksize<\/i>() does not refer to an initialized thread attributes object.<\/p>\n

RETURN VALUE <\/a> <\/h2>\n

Upon successful completion, pthread_attr_getstacksize<\/i>() and pthread_attr_setstacksize<\/i>() shall return a value of 0; otherwise, an error number shall be returned to indicate the error.<\/p>\n

The pthread_attr_getstacksize<\/i>() function stores the stacksize<\/i> attribute value in stacksize<\/i> if successful.<\/p>\n

The pthread_attr_setstacksize<\/i>() function shall fail if:<\/p>\n\n\n

If an implementation detects that the value specified by the attr<\/i> argument to pthread_attr_getstacksize<\/i>() or pthread_attr_setstacksize<\/i>() does not refer to an initialized thread attributes object, it is recommended that the function should fail and report an [EINVAL]<\/b> error.<\/p>\n
