This manual page is part of the POSIX Programmer\u2019s Manual. The Linux implementation of this interface may differ (consult the corresponding Linux manual page for details of Linux behavior), or the interface may not be implemented on Linux.<\/p>\n

NAME <\/a> <\/h2>\n

sched_getparam \u2014 get scheduling parameters (REALTIME<\/b>)<\/p>\n

SYNOPSIS <\/a> <\/h2>\n

int sched_getparam(pid_t pid<\/i>, struct sched_param *param<\/i>);<\/p>\n

DESCRIPTION <\/a> <\/h2>\n

The sched_getparam<\/i>() function shall return the scheduling parameters of a process specified by pid<\/i> in the sched_param<\/b> structure pointed to by param<\/i>.<\/p>\n

If a process specified by pid<\/i> exists, and if the calling process has permission, the scheduling parameters for the process whose process ID is equal to pid<\/i> shall be returned.<\/p>\n

If pid<\/i> is zero, the scheduling parameters for the calling process shall be returned. The behavior of the sched_getparam<\/i>() function is unspecified if the value of pid<\/i> is negative.<\/p>\n

RETURN VALUE <\/a> <\/h2>\n

Upon successful completion, the sched_getparam<\/i>() function shall return zero. If the call to sched_getparam<\/i>() is unsuccessful, the function shall return a value of \u22121 and set errno<\/i> to indicate the error.<\/p>\n

ERRORS <\/a> <\/h2>\n

The sched_getparam<\/i>() function shall fail if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
