The Linux implementation of this interface may differ (consult the corresponding Linux manual page for details of Linux behavior), or the interface may not be implemented on Linux.<\/p>\n<h2>NAME <a name=\"NAME\"><\/a> <\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">sched_getparam \u2014 get scheduling parameters (<b>REALTIME<\/b>)<\/p>\n<h2>SYNOPSIS <a name=\"SYNOPSIS\"><\/a> <\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">#include <sched.h><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">int sched_getparam(pid_t <i>pid<\/i>, struct sched_param *<i>param<\/i>);<\/p>\n<h2>DESCRIPTION <a name=\"DESCRIPTION\"><\/a> <\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">The <i>sched_getparam<\/i>() function shall return the scheduling parameters of a process specified by <i>pid<\/i> in the <b>sched_param<\/b> structure pointed to by <i>param<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">If a process specified by <i>pid<\/i> exists, and if the calling process has permission, the scheduling parameters for the process whose process ID is equal to <i>pid<\/i> shall be returned.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">If <i>pid<\/i> is zero, the scheduling parameters for the calling process shall be returned. The behavior of the <i>sched_getparam<\/i>() function is unspecified if the value of <i>pid<\/i> is negative.<\/p>\n<h2>RETURN VALUE <a name=\"RETURN VALUE\"><\/a> <\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">Upon successful completion, the <i>sched_getparam<\/i>() function shall return zero.
