NAME<\/a> udev.conf \u2212 Configuration for device event managing daemon<\/p>\n \/etc\/udev\/udev.conf<\/p>\n systemd-udevd<\/b>(8) expects its main configuration file at \/etc\/udev\/udev.conf. It consists of a set of variables allowing the user to override default udev values. All empty lines or lines beginning with ‘#’ are ignored. The following variables can be set:<\/p>\n udev_log=<\/i><\/p>\n The log level. Valid values are the numerical syslog priorities or their textual representations: err<\/b>, info<\/b> and debug<\/b>.<\/p>\n children_max=<\/i><\/p>\n An integer. The maximum number of events executed in parallel.<\/p>\n This is the same as the \u2212\u2212children\u2212max=<\/b> option.<\/p>\n exec_delay=<\/i><\/p>\n An integer. Delay the execution of each RUN{program}<\/i> parameter by the given number of seconds. This option might be useful when debugging system crashes during coldplug caused by loading non\u2212working kernel modules.<\/p>\n This is the same as the \u2212\u2212exec\u2212delay=<\/b> option.<\/p>\n event_timeout=<\/i><\/p>\n An integer. The number of seconds to wait for events to finish. After this time, the event will be terminated. The default is 180 seconds.<\/p>\n This is the same as the \u2212\u2212event\u2212timeout=<\/b> option.<\/p>\n resolve_names=<\/i><\/p>\n Specifes when systemd\u2212udevd should resolve names of users and groups. When set to early<\/b> (the default), names will be resolved when the rules are parsed. When set to late<\/b>, names will be resolved for every event. When set to never<\/b>, names will never be resolved and all devices will be owned by root.<\/p>\n This is the same as the \u2212\u2212resolve\u2212names=<\/b> option.<\/p>\n timeout_signal=<\/i><\/p>\n Specifies a signal that systemd\u2212udevd will send on worker timeouts. Note that both workers and spawned processes will be killed using this signal. Defaults to SIGKILL<\/b>.<\/p>\n
