It consists of a set of variables allowing the user to override default udev values. All empty lines or lines beginning with &#8216;#&#8217; are ignored. The following variables can be set:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\"><i>udev_log=<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:17%;\">The log level. Valid values are the numerical syslog priorities or their textual representations: <b>err<\/b>, <b>info<\/b> and <b>debug<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\"><i>children_max=<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:17%;\">An integer. The maximum number of events executed in parallel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:17%; margin-top: 1em\">This is the same as the <b>\u2212\u2212children\u2212max=<\/b> option.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\"><i>exec_delay=<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:17%;\">An integer. Delay the execution of each <i>RUN{program}<\/i> parameter by the given number of seconds. This option might be useful when debugging system crashes during coldplug caused by loading non\u2212working kernel modules.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:17%; margin-top: 1em\">This is the same as the <b>\u2212\u2212exec\u2212delay=<\/b> option.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\"><i>event_timeout=<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:17%;\">An integer. The number of seconds to wait for events to finish. After this time, the event will be terminated. The default is 180 seconds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:17%; margin-top: 1em\">This is the same as the <b>\u2212\u2212event\u2212timeout=<\/b> option.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\"><i>resolve_names=<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:17%;\">Specifes when systemd\u2212udevd should resolve names of users and groups. When set to <b>early<\/b> (the default), names will be resolved when the rules are parsed. When set to <b>late<\/b>, names will be resolved for every event. When set to <b>never<\/b>, names will never be resolved and all devices will be owned by root.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:17%; margin-top: 1em\">This is the same as the <b>\u2212\u2212resolve\u2212names=<\/b> option.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\"><i>timeout_signal=<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:17%;\">Specifies a signal that systemd\u2212udevd will send on worker timeouts. Note that both workers and spawned processes will be killed using this signal.
