This backend should be considered alpha.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">There are also backends for Microtek scanners with SCSI command set. Refer to <b>sane\u2212microtek<\/b>(5) and <b>sane\u2212microtek2<\/b>(5) for details.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">At present, the following scanners are known positively to work with this backend:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%; margin-top: 1em\">Vendor Product id: Remark: <br \/> &#8212;&#8212;&#8211; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211; <br \/> Microtek ScanMaker 3600 all modes ok <br \/> Microtek ScanMaker 3700 reported to work <br \/> Microtek ScanMaker 3750 reported to work<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">If you own a Microtek scanner with the M011 chip other than the ones listed above, it may or may not work with SANE!<\/p>\n<h2>FRONTEND OPTIONS <a name=\"FRONTEND OPTIONS\"><\/a> <\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">This backend dynamically enables the options for the frontend, that are supported by the scanner dependent on the scanning-mode and other options. Unsupported options are disabled.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">The following options are supported by the <b>sane\u2212sm3600<\/b> backend: Color, grayscale, halftone and lineart scans. Also contrast, brightness, and gamma correction.<\/p>\n<h2>DEVICE NAMES <a name=\"DEVICE NAMES\"><\/a> <\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">This backend does not support device names in a standardized form.<\/p>\n<h2>CONFIGURATION <a name=\"CONFIGURATION\"><\/a> <\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">This backend does not support a configuration file right now.<\/p>\n<h2>FILES <a name=\"FILES\"><\/a> <\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\"><i>\/usr\/lib64\/sane\/libsane\u2212sm3600.a<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">The static library implementing this backend.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><i>\/usr\/lib64\/sane\/libsane\u2212sm3600.so<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">The shared library implementing this backend (present on systems that support dynamic loading).<\/p>\n<h2>ENVIRONMENT <a name=\"ENVIRONMENT\"><\/a> <\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\"><b>SANE_DEBUG_SM3600<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">If the library was compiled with debug support enabled, this environment variable controls the debug level for this backend. E.g., a value of 128 requests all debug output to be printed. Smaller levels reduce verbosity.
