DESCRIPTION <\/a> <\/h2>\n

umount.nilfs2<\/b> detaches the NILFS2 file system(s) mentioned from the file hierarchy. This is the umount helper for NILFS2 to shutdown the garbage collector nilfs_cleanerd<\/b>(8) before detaching the file system. Usually it should be invoked through umount<\/b>(8).<\/p>\n

THE LOOP DEVICE <\/a> <\/h2>\n

umount.nilfs2<\/b> will free the loop device (if any) associated with the mount, in case it finds the option \u2018loop=…\u2019 in \/etc\/mtab<\/i>. The \u2212d option, which also allows umount<\/b>(8) to free the loop device without the \u2018loop=…\u2019 option, is not supported.<\/p>\n
