The <b>findmnt<\/b> command is able to search in <i>\/etc\/fstab<\/i>, <i>\/etc\/mtab<\/i> or <i>\/proc\/self\/mountinfo<\/i>. If <i>device<\/i> or <i>mountpoint<\/i> is not given, all filesystems are shown.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">The device may be specified by device name, major:minor numbers, filesystem label or UUID, or partition label or UUID. Note that <b>findmnt<\/b> follows <b>mount<\/b>(8) behavior where a device name may be interpreted as a mountpoint (and vice versa) if the <b>\u2212\u2212target<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212mountpoint<\/b> or <b>\u2212\u2212source<\/b> options are not specified.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">The command prints all mounted filesystems in the tree-like format by default.<\/p>\n<h2>OPTIONS <a name=\"OPTIONS\"><\/a> <\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\"><b>\u2212A<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212all<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Disable all built-in filters and print all filesystems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212a<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212ascii<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Use ascii characters for tree formatting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212b<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212bytes<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Print the SIZE, USED and AVAIL columns in bytes rather than in a human-readable format.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212C<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212nocanonicalize<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Do not canonicalize paths at all. This option affects the comparing of paths and the evaluation of tags (LABEL, UUID, etc.).<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212c<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212canonicalize<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Canonicalize all printed paths.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212D<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212df<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Imitate the output of <b>df<\/b>(1). This option is equivalent to <b>\u2212o\u00a0SOURCE,FSTYPE,SIZE,USED,AVAIL,USE%,TARGET<\/b> but excludes all pseudo filesystems. Use <b>\u2212\u2212all<\/b> to print all filesystems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212d<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212direction<\/b> <i>word<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">The search direction, either <b>forward<\/b> or <b>backward<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212e<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212evaluate<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Convert all tags (LABEL, UUID, PARTUUID or PARTLABEL) to the corresponding device names.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212F<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212tab\u2212file<\/b> <i>path<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Search in an alternative file. The output is in the tree-like format. This is the default. The output contains only mount options maintained by kernel (see also <b>\u2212\u2212mtab)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212l<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212list<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Use the list output format. This output format is automatically enabled if the output is restricted by the <b>\u2212t<\/b>, <b>\u2212O<\/b>, <b>\u2212S<\/b> or <b>\u2212T<\/b> option and the option <b>\u2212\u2212submounts<\/b> is not used or if more that one source file (the option <b>\u2212F<\/b>) is specified.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212M<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212mountpoint<\/b> <i>path<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Explicitly define the mountpoint file or directory. See also <b>\u2212\u2212target<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212m<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212mtab<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Search in <i>\/etc\/mtab<\/i>. The output is in the list format by default (see <b>\u2212\u2212tree<\/b>). The output may include user space mount options.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212N<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212task<\/b> <i>tid<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Use alternative namespace \/proc\/<tid>\/mountinfo rather than the default \/proc\/self\/mountinfo. If the option is specified more than once, then tree-like output is disabled (see the <b>\u2212\u2212list<\/b> option). More than one option may be specified in a comma-separated list. The <b>\u2212t<\/b> and <b>\u2212O<\/b> options are cumulative in effect. It is different from <b>\u2212t<\/b> in that each option is matched exactly; a leading <i>no<\/i> at the beginning does not have global meaning. The &#8220;no&#8221; can used for individual items in the list. The &#8220;no&#8221; prefix interpretation can be disabled by &#8220;+&#8221; prefix.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212o<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212output<\/b> <i>list<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Define output columns. See the <b>\u2212\u2212help<\/b> output to get a list of the currently supported columns. The <b>TARGET<\/b> column contains tree formatting if the <b>\u2212\u2212list<\/b> or <b>\u2212\u2212raw<\/b> options are not specified.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%; margin-top: 1em\">The default list of columns may be extended if <i>list<\/i> is specified in the format <i>+list<\/i> (e.g., <b>findmnt \u2212o +PROPAGATION<\/b>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212\u2212output\u2212all<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Output almost all available columns. The columns that require <b>\u2212\u2212poll<\/b> are not included.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212P<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212pairs<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Use key=&#8221;value&#8221; output format. Supported actions are: mount, umount, remount and move. More than one action may be specified in a comma-separated list. All actions are monitored by default.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%; margin-top: 1em\">The time for which <b>\u2212\u2212poll<\/b> will block can be restricted with the <b>\u2212\u2212timeout<\/b> or <b>\u2212\u2212first\u2212only<\/b> options.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%; margin-top: 1em\">The standard columns always use the new version of the information from the mountinfo file, except the umount action which is based on the original information cached by <b>findmnt<\/b>(8). All submounts are always printed in tree-like order. The option enables the tree-like output format by default. This option has no effect for <b>\u2212\u2212mtab<\/b> or <b>\u2212\u2212fstab<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212r<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212raw<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Use raw output format. The output is in the list format (see <b>\u2212\u2212list<\/b>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212T<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212target<\/b> <i>path<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Define the mount target. If <i>path<\/i> is not a mountpoint file or directory, then <b>findmnt<\/b> checks the <i>path<\/i> elements in reverse order to get the mountpoint (this feature is supported only when searching in kernel files and unsupported for <b>\u2212\u2212fstab<\/b>). It\u2019s recommended to use the option <b>\u2212\u2212mountpoint<\/b> when checks of <i>path<\/i> elements are unwanted and <i>path<\/i> is a strictly specified mountpoint.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212t<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212types<\/b> <i>list<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Limit the set of printed filesystems. More than one type may be specified in a comma-separated list. The list of filesystem types can be prefixed with <b>no<\/b> to specify the filesystem types on which no action should be taken. For more details see <b>mount<\/b>(8).<\/p>\n<table width=\"100%\" border=\"0\" rules=\"none\" frame=\"void\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tr valign=\"top\" align=\"left\">\n<td width=\"11%\"><\/td>\n<td width=\"9%\">\n<p><b>\u2212\u2212tree<\/b><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td width=\"2%\"><\/td>\n<td width=\"78%\">\n<p>Enable tree-like output if possible. This option disables text truncation also in all other columns.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212v<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212nofsroot<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Do not print a [\/dir] in the SOURCE column for bind mounts or btrfs subvolumes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212w<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212timeout<\/b> <i>milliseconds<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Specify an upper limit on the time for which <b>\u2212\u2212poll<\/b> will block, in milliseconds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212x<\/b>, <b>\u2212\u2212verify<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Check mount table content.
