umount.nfs, umount.nfs4 \u2212 unmount a Network File System<\/p>\n

SYNOPSIS <\/a> <\/h2>\n

umount.nfs<\/b> dir<\/i> [\u2212fvnrlh ]<\/b><\/p>\n

DESCRIPTION <\/a> <\/h2>\n

umount.nfs<\/b> and umount.nfs4<\/b> are a part of nfs<\/b>(5) utilities package, which provides NFS client functionality.<\/p>\n

umount.nfs4<\/b> and umount.nfs<\/b> are meant to be used by the umount<\/b>(8) command for unmounting NFS shares. This subcommand, however, can also be used as a standalone command with limited functionality.<\/p>\n

dir<\/i> is the directory on which the file system is mounted.<\/p>\n
