For example if you insert:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\"><b>rtmon file \/var\/log\/rtmon.log<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">in a startup script, you will be able to view the full history later. Certainly, it is possible to start rtmon at any time. LISTofOBJECTS is the list of object types that we want to monitor. It may contain \u2019link\u2019, \u2019address\u2019, \u2019route\u2019 and \u2019all\u2019. \u2019link\u2019 specifies the network device, \u2019address\u2019 the protocol (IP or IPv6) address on a device, \u2019route\u2019 the routing table entry and \u2019all\u2019 does what the name says.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%;\"><b>\u2212family [ inet | inet6 | link | help ]<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:22%;\">Specify protocol family. \u2019inet\u2019 is IPv4, \u2019inet6\u2019 is IPv6, \u2019link\u2019 means that no networking protocol is involved and \u2019help\u2019 prints usage information.<\/p>\n<table width=\"100%\" border=\"0\" rules=\"none\" frame=\"void\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tr valign=\"top\" align=\"left\">\n<td width=\"11%\"><\/td>\n<td width=\"3%\">\n<p><b>\u22124<\/b><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td width=\"8%\"><\/td>\n<td width=\"78%\">\n<p>Use IPv4.
