It reads static configuration from files in \/usr and \/etc, but also runtime configuration from \/run and the kernel command line (see below).<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">See <b>modules-load.d<\/b>(5) for information about the configuration format of this service and paths where configuration files can be created.<\/p>\n<h2>KERNEL COMMAND LINE <a name=\"KERNEL COMMAND LINE\"><\/a> <\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\">systemd\u2212modules\u2212load.service understands the following kernel command line parameters:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em\"><i>modules_load=<\/i>, <i>rd.modules_load=<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:17%;\">Takes a comma\u2212separated list of kernel modules to statically load during early boot.
