urpmi.update \u2212 Updates package lists for specified media<\/p>\n

SYNOPSIS <\/a> <\/h2>\n

urpmi.update [options] []<\/p>\n

DESCRIPTION <\/a> <\/h2>\n

urpmi.update scans the specified urpmi media to update their package list. <names<\/i>> is a list of names you first told to urpmi.addmedia.<\/p>\n

Force update of GPG<\/small> key.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t update media, but mark them as ignored (that is, disables them). \u2212\u2212no\u2212ignore<\/b> has the reverse behaviour: it marks the media as enabled.<\/p>\n

Disable MD5SUM<\/small> file checking.<\/p>\n

Use the file system tree rooted for urpmi database and rpm install. Contrary to \u2212\u2212root<\/b>, the urpmi configuration comes from the rooted tree.<\/p>\n

Use specified user and password to use for proxy authentication. Specifying \u2212\u2212proxy\u2212user=ask<\/b> will cause urpmi.update to prompt for a username and a password.<\/p>\n

Try to limit the download speed, rate<\/i> is given in bytes\/sec. This option is not active by default.<\/p>\n
