DESCRIPTION <\/a> <\/h2>\n

systemd\u2212hibernate\u2212resume\u2212generator<\/b> is a generator that initiates the procedure to resume the system from hibernation. It instantiates the systemd-hibernate-resume@.service<\/b>(8) unit according to the value of resume=<\/b> parameter specified on the kernel command line, which will instruct the kernel to resume the system from the hibernation image on that device.<\/p>\n

KERNEL COMMAND LINE <\/a> <\/h2>\n

systemd\u2212hibernate\u2212resume\u2212generator understands the following kernel command line parameters:<\/p>\n

resume=<\/i><\/p>\n

Takes a path to the resume device. Both persistent block device paths like \/dev\/disk\/by\u2212foo\/bar and fstab<\/b>(5)\u2212style specifiers like “FOO=bar” are supported.<\/p>\n

resumeflags=<\/i><\/p>\n

Takes the resume device mount options to use. Defaults rootflags=<\/i> if not specified.<\/p>\n

noresume<\/i><\/p>\n

Do not try to resume from hibernation. If this parameter is present, resume=<\/i> is ignored.<\/p>\n
